What is the difference between successful people and those who seem to constantly struggle? I believe Jim Rohn said it best when he said, “Success is no more than a few simple disciplines, practiced everyday.” Your habits are the main way to determine what you are becoming. Success doesn’t begin by getting winning the lottery or some other great opportunity. I read an article from Forbes magazine about the 5 things successful people do before 8 am that I want to share with you. First, I want to tell you about the daily routine I started when I just wanted to get out of the rut my life had become. I had no idea that choice would change everything.
I decided that every day I would:
1) Pray/Decree my daily declarations 2) Listen to faith building messages 3) Plan out my day 4) Visualize my dreams and goals
I told myself that these things were not up for discussion. It does not matter how I feel, I was going to pray every day. I was determined to do these 4 things everyday…and I have not stopped. These four things revolutionized my life and I am not the same individual I was when I first begin.
Forbes magazine article listed the 5 most common activities super successful people do before 8 a.m. Utilizing your morning hours is important because that is when you are found to be more proactive and more productive. Their list included:
2) Plan out your day 3) Eat a healthy breakfast
4) Visualization 5) Tackle your day's toughest job early
